All of our products include coloured or French polish and we can tailor the length and the shape to your choice. For an extra cost, we can even apply Nail art and Diamantés to help make your Nails stand out from the crowd!
Acrylic and Gel Nails offer superior adhesion and are excellent against wear and tear. They are also an effective way to help the growth and strength of your nails. Both options smooth uneven edges and prevent breaking and splitting, leaving them looking natural, thin and shiny.

Nail Overlays
What is the difference between nail overlays and nail extensions?
Whilst nail extensions involve applying an artificial tip to the end of the nail to add length, nail overlays involve the application of the acrylic, gel or the desired system directly to the natural nail. Overlays can also be applied to toenails.
What are the benefits of nail overlays?
Overlays provide an extra layer of protection that makes the nails less likely to break or split. Overlays are particularly good for people who have trouble growing their nails naturally, or for people with short and brittle nails as a result of a nail biting habit.
Types of nail overlays
Nail overlays are available in Gel and Acrylic. And at Essence, we use branded overlay and extension systems by CND Liquid & Powder and Artistic. The only difference is the artificial tip to add length will not be applied.
IBX Repair
IBX Repair is an intense treatment used to improve nail plate integrity, applied with your natural manicure or under any Gel Polish Coating. It can also be used to target natural nail imperfections and weaknesses that prevent natural nails from growing long.
IBX Repair is applied specifically to targeted damaged areas including splits, peeling and free edge delamination. It also acts like “double-sided sticky tape” to seal the damaged areas together.
